Ricordea Propagation

While Ricordea propagation is pretty easy it is still quite important to pay attention and take great care throughout the process. Since Ricordea Yuma is pretty expensive it makes sense to begin propagating with the more affordable Ricordea Florida. Some people may have a larger budget and simply want to begin with Ricordea Florida, however this is up to each aqua culturist and how they want to proceed.

Ricordea Propagation - Choosing the Specimen

The aquaculture process is fascinating, but making a mistake with a specimen that cost a few hundred dollars would be a tough way to get started. Remember, though, that propagating a Ricordea mushroom is not as difficult as you might imagine. This is important to remember because it will help you relax as you begin the propagation process. If you are nervous then the project can become more difficult fast! Ricordea Propagation Yuma Split

Tools for Ricordea Propagation

Ricordea propagation requires some basic tools. These include a fresh razor, clean cloth, and a plastic cutting board. Before I begin a big session of coral propagation I perform a water change and work with the discarded water. Before you get started allow the plastic cutting board to soak in the water for a few minutes. Similarly, wet the clean cloth with the same water and the razor, too.

Getting Started with Ricordea Propagation

Before you begin make sure you wash your hands well, but don’t use soap. Then, wet them well with the salt water from the tank. Next, use the palm of your hand to pick up the Ricordea mushroom and try not to touch it with your fingers. This is important for the Ricordea propagation.

Cutting and Ricordea Propagation

The point of examining the foot of the Ricordea mushroom is to make sure you cut the foot and not its mouth. Both the Ricordea mushroom as well as other Ricordea Propagation Recovery mushroom coral appear to heal faster when cut this way. Be sure to cut the tissue fast and clean so as not to tear the tissue.

Ricordea Propagation and Healing

After the Ricordea propagation the most important step is the follow up care. The best method is with mono specific systems. I have used only Ricordea mushroom reef tanks to propagate Ricordea mushroom coral. If you follow the basic instructions outlined here and focus on follow up care then it won’t be long until your aqua farm is working and you have created a Ricordea mushroom coral garden.

Regarding the proposed extension of the no rock shrimping area over the coral reef along Florida's east coast, I can understand the need to preserve the coral reefs along our coast, but why put a longtime business out of business?

Coral growth in Western Australia found to be thriving in warmer water

One such impact most researchers thought was well understood was the bleaching of coral reefs. As ocean temperatures rise and become more acidic, coral reefs tend to slough off the algae that grows on them, causing them to slowly die.
